Mia's Party Tricks...

ps - gotta love Nick telling me "Im tired of this, Im kinda tired of this Mommy!" Hahahaaha...

This just in... 12 month stats... *well almost 13 month stats being that I had to reschedule since I had the H1N1 flu... *

I weigh 22.6 lbs -- which is in the 58% and I am 30.5 inches long -- which is in the 74%! I am growing beautifully! New "party tricks" include saying "HI" while waving, shaking my head "No" (especially as Im throwing food over the side of my high chair!), I say "Nick" now! And, my favorite thing to do is play with phones and keys. uhoh - Daddy, I am girlie all the way.
Im working on blowing kisses now and "kissing" my baby dolls. Right now, I sorta just open my mouth and drool all over them... but it still looks cute! I also point at things I want now (Daddy's favorite new trick)... And, my Mommy's favorite trick is when I dance back and forth when music is on!

We spent the weekend playing with the Frase family! On Friday, we went to Perpetual Motion, lunch at pizza hut, and then back to their house for some movie time -- while Mommy cut Auntie Nicki's hair super cute. That gymnastics place is really fun - Mommy held me on the trampoline and jumped up and down, I loved it... I kicked my legs all over the place and belly laughed. Cant wait to go back again!

On Saturday - we had lunch with Grandma Mona and Grandpa Gene - I got my birthday present! Im so excited, its a gift card to Target! Me and Mommy are going to go shopping for just the right presents -- Im thinking shoes, pj's, shoes, head bands, shoes, and probably some new toys too! Did I mention shoes? We also had the Frase's over for dinner and playtime on Saturday night. We just love hanging out together! Then, Mommy and Auntie Nicki had the most brilliant idea ever... On Sunday we all went to Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater. Woah. Now that is what I call a park. The weather was so warm and sunny - just the perfect day. This was the most fun park I have ever been too -- check out these pictures!

On our way to lunch at the Freight House - downtown Stillwater is so pretty. When Im older Im going to go shopping with Grammie there. The boys got a ride up and down the hills - I took the stroller and it was fun like a roller coaster!

and, well. I fell asleep BEFORE the ice cream. I keep telling everyone - wake me up if anything excting is happening. But, do they listen? I think not. Shucks, I love cookies and cream.

oh what fun, now that i'm one...

hello! it's me, the 1 year old... YAY, Im not zero anymore!! AND- Im all better. I was a little piggy with the H1N1 flu. It was no fun - I was pretty sick, not as sick as my poor grammie though. She had it the worst... no good. I do not like it when my grammie is sick. Here is a picture of poor me. I mean, Im trying to be happy, really I am. It was just so hard, all I wanted to do was be left alone in my crib. BUT No... I had to have terrible-gross-disgusting tamiflu, temp checks, cold wash clothes, tylenol, motrin, tylenol, motrin, way too many hugs and way too many kisses... Dont get me wrong, I am glad my mommy and daddy were here to take care of me, but goodness. How's a girl to get better when everyone is fussing all over her all the time?!!

Well, the good news is that Im all better now! Phew. Poor Nick and Mommy also got sick - Nick probably got sick the worst. While we were at the cabin he ran almost a 103 degree fever, and Mommy had a high fever too. BUT, we are troopers and we still had fun on our vacation at the lake. Just a little more low key than we would have expected!

Summer is winding down... and there are so many things to tell you about. But, because I dont want to miss anything, Im just going to show you some pictures of my photo shoot today in honor of my 1st birthday. I have tons of pictures of vacation, my birthday party, and other exciting things, but Ill share those later when there is more time.

I love love love getting my picture taken... hmmmm. wonder why?



ps-- I am a officially a crawler, puller upper in the crib to standing position, feeding myself graham crackers kinda 1 year old.. yippeeeeeee!

pps - my mommy wanted to remind you all that on August 10th 2008 several blood transfusions saved her life. please consider donating blood - I mean, it's not often you get to be a super hero!

Happy Birthday my sweet miracle baby, Mia!

At 6:46pm my world changed forever -- when we welcomed our 5 and a half pound, dark haired beauty into the world. I will spend more time later posting pics of our celebrations - for now, I have a sick little girl to take care. Mia has the H1N1 flu - so we are hunkering down here in the Wray house to relax and recouperate. All 4 of us will be on meds for the next 10 days...

Move over Justin Morneau!

Step aside Michael Cuddyer... We got a hot one here... Nick is excellent at T-Ball... He cracks the ball way out into the out field and is doing great running bases. I think, if I may predict the future here, that this kiddo is going to play some serious little league... His team is called the Purple Lions! Keaten is also playing - and his team is called the Red Strawberries! He is so cute - he runs around with his Twins Hat on backwards! Love it!



Go Nick Go! Oh, and looky here.. Mia is standing ALL BY HERSELF TOO! Yay! Now, when you clap and say "YAY Mia!" She smiles and claps for herself! So cute!

The best 4th of July weekend EVER

Who's turn to update? Well, since it was Mia's first 4th of July, we will let her fill you in... And, pictures are in no particular order - its just that I dont want to take the time to move them all into order!

So, as you know, it was my first big 4th of july holiday. And, its possible that it may be my favorite too... I know, we'll see... I know Christmas is fun, I hear birthdays are way cool too... But for now, this one is the bestest. Here I am with the cutest boys around... all matching in our holiday gear... As you can see, I am tuckered out. I missed my nap and had lots of fresh air and sunshine... so I am out of it! My brother and cousin, on the other hand, are wired up - they had lots of sugar and swam most of the day. They took turns jumping off the dock into the water -- and boy oh boy, they are brave!


Here is Mommy and Auntie Nicki fishing... Mommy is the only one that didnt catch a fish. Nick and Keaten caught about 6 each... I told Mommy not to worry, I just know in a couple of weeks when we are back up North, she will catch a few then! And, looky looky... You can sort of see Auntie Nick's baby bump! Yep, that's right! She is having a new little Frase in early Decemeber... We will find out if I will be the only girl soon enough... either way, we are so excited!

Nick's question of the day (again...) "Did I catch a fish yet? Nope." On this day, we didnt catch a thing! But -- those fish better watch out... we will be back soon!


My Uncle and Auntie enjoying the sun and breeze! They taught my Mommy how to fish... she had only been fishing a couple of times before, but by the end of the weekend she could put the leech on all by herself. Now if only she could catch a fish, right??

And, yes. I did fall asleep, life jacket and all... But it was just so comfy with the waves rocking the boat, all snuggled up in Daddy's arms... Ahhhh. Makes me sleepy just looking at it!

We had such a wonderful weekend... Thank you Grammie and Grandpa for having us up for the long weekend. We loved all the yummy food and activities you planned for us. Cant wait to go back soon. Nick's favorite part was "ALL OF IT!" My favorite part was playing with Grammie and Grandpa... and I really love Grandpa's watch! Mommy and Daddy's favorite part was the boat ride and swimming in the lake - and of course all of the delicious food!
